Born and Raised in Ohio, Kellee has always been immersed in creative and performing arts. After receiving her Bachelors in Fine Arts, she pursued the Beauty Industry to further enhance her skill, while also developing into a multi-dimensional artist. 

 

           2010, living in the Washington, DC area, Kellee attend Graham Webb Hair Academy;  An European technical school, specializing in Cutting and Color.  She then went on to receive her Cosmetolgy licence and styled at one of DC’s top Salons, Bang! 

(U St.). It was there, where she developed a multi- cultural clientele and experienced her first encounter with styling men. 

 

Fast forwarding to 2016, Kellee relocated to Atlanta, Ga with the impression of maintaining her Cosmetology  career, only to find herself in a male dominant environment.  Fortunantly, having experience with cutting men kept her head above waters, but after developing an admiration for barbering, she knew proper training was a necessity and enrolled into CEI’s “Crossover Program” for aspiring barbers.  

 

Now with two licenses under her belt, and skill being nurtured under the guidance of Kevin Dunn, Groomed Gentlemen’s Parlour became her new Barber home. Years had passed and  her confidence led her to where she is now; Owner and Master Barber of K.Smith Cuts Up.
